Reading: Psalm 100
Call: THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD.
Response: THANKS BE TO GOD!

Song: All Creatures of Our God and King
Song: I Know that My Redeemer Lives
Song: Lord From Sorrows Deep I Call

II. CONFESSION
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
 and lead me in the way everlasting!

Corporate Call:
Father, we come before you this morning confessing our sins, our rebellious hearts,our corrupt thoughts and desires. Lord, we come before you with blood on our hands, guilty of sin. Actively and passively, we have broken your law. Oh Lord, you have created us in your image, you have made us for your glory, and you have redeemed us from the clutches of sin and death - and rather than living for your praise, we walk in the aroma of arrogance - rather than standing boldly in the truth, we embrace the open arms of bitterness and envy. God, please open our eyes so that we might behold your beauty; rescue us and bring rest to our restless hearts.

Lord, we run for refuge to your infinite mercy, seeking your forgiveness. So in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Hear our cry:

Response: Father, forgive us.

III. ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Arise and hear the good news!
Church, your prayers have not failed, for your confession has ascended to the right hand of the Father where the Great High Priest has now interceded on your behalf.

Beloved, lift your eyes and behold your King.

He is the Sovereign One
rest for the restless soul,
peace for the tortured mind,
hope for the weary heart.
Your King has gifted you a grace deeper than the ocean floor and a crown of glory brighter than the stars.

His faithfulness stands like a mountain — unmoved. His love is stronger than death and burns hotter than a thousand fires.

For you are his, and he is yours — a bride purchased at the price of the King's own blood.

And no power on earth, no power in hell will ever pull you from his hand.

Church, This is good news! So lift up your hearts and hear these words and know, your redeemer has redeemed you, your savior has saved you, your King has declared with his mighty voice, your sins are forgiven!

Response: Thanks be to God!

Song: Christ Our Hope In Life And Death

IV. APOSTLE’S CREED/LORD’S PRAYER

Apostle’s Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Lord’s Prayer:
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory forever.
Amen.
