Call: THIS IS THE WORD OF THE LORD.
Response: THANKS BE TO GOD!
Song: How Great (Psalm 145)
Song: Christ Shall Have Dominion
Song: From The Depths Of Woe I Raise To Thee (Psalm 130)
II. CONFESSION
Individual Call: Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
Corporate Call:
In the wilderness of our sin, we have longed for what does not satisfy and settled for what cannot sustain. We have feasted on lust, on pride, on envy — and starved our souls. We have traded the truth of your love for the lie of acceptance, your holiness for the world's approval, your peace for the noise that promises rest and delivers ruin. O God, in the light of your glory, our darkness is laid bare. Our sins are ever before us. So we come as we are — wayward sinners, hungry for grace. So in the name of Jesus, our High Priest and King, Lord, hear our cry:
Response: Father, forgive us.
III. ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Arise and hear the good news!
Church, your prayers have not failed, for your confession has ascended to the right hand of the Father, where the Great High Priest has now interceded on your behalf.
Church, Jesus Christ has seen it all — your rebellion, your wandering, your wicked heart — and your sin did not drive him away. No — the very Word of God put on flesh and dwelt among us.
He came to a people who could not save themselves. He came for a sin-stained bride the Father had given him, and as her faithful husband, he took her curse and died her death.
In his death, Church, he absorbed your sin, your shame, your every stain. In his resurrection, he washed you clean and raised you to new life.
Church, this is what Christ has done for you. So hear these words: by the great and powerful name of Jesus, I declare to you — your sins are forgiven!
Response: Thanks be to God!

IV. APOSTLE’S CREED/LORD’S PRAYER
Apostle’s Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
he descended into hell;
the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
Lord’s Prayer:
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory forever.
Amen.
